Dog Training

Tail Waggers is proud to announce a new expanded training program. Lynn Whitaker of Bow Wow U will now be providing expert canine training services.


Lynn has extensive canine training experience, and education in rescue/shelter dogs, temperament testing, aggression, as well as canine behaviorism. She offers puppy training and obedience classes all the way up to advanced obedience as well as Canine Good Citizen Evaluations. Lynn will also be conducting seminars at Tail Waggers on a variety of pet care topics. She is also the creator of a line of all natural pet care products and dog treats.


All classes run in 7 week sessions and cost $145 per session.


Puppy Training

This is a class dedicated to learning puppy social behaviors, principles of sit, come, down, the beginning stages of stay and walking on a leash nicely.


Some of the topics discussed in class are:


  • Housebreaking
  • Crate Training
  • Neutering/Spaying
  • Nutrition
  • Dog Psychology
  • Behaviors

Family Companion Class

In these classes you will learn, Sit, Down, Stay, Wait, Stand, Come, and Heel as a position, as well as others.

  • Fears
  • Aggression
  • Body Languages and Canine Communication

Beyond Basics

This class is dedicated to having fun with your trained dog. There are games, distraction, and lots of new things to learn in this class. This class is for dogs who have mastered basic obedience, and are ready to move on to more distractions and proofings.

  • Footwork
  • Relay Games

  • Perfecting the Finish
  • Off Lead Heel Work
